I have been seeing a bunch of wheel/tire fitment threads popping up, and they all usually have the same answers. Let's keep these all in 1 thread.

Can you add to the OP that the stock 2010 MS3 wheel and tire are:

Wheel:

Size: 18x7.5
Offset: +52.5
Pattern: 5x114.3
Thread Size: 12x1.5
OEM Hex: 21mm
Hub: 67.1
Weight: 23.4 lbs

Tire:

225/40 R18

This was info that I had searched for when I first got my car and I know new owners are doing the same. It may help serve as a reference point.

Gen2 MS3
Wheel Specs: 18x8 +46
Tire Specs: ??
Suspension: Eibach Sportline springs
What's needed to make it fit: Remove front fender liner screw and fender roll in rear

This would fit fine on a gen 2 without any modification. ^^
The Op from the previous thread had a gen 1 Mz3

Mazda 5

Wheel Specs: 18x8 +35 (Front)/18x9 +35(Rear) or 19x8(F) 19X9.5(R)
Tire Specs: 225/40/18
Suspension: Springs but not low enough so coilovers is the best option
What's needed to make it fit: 18's (none) 19's fender roll/pull

David or Mark add to this

After a little over two years of rolling fenders, and watching guys show up trying to make wheels fit with tons of bad info they get on the net, You'll need a full section not just a thread, there's just too many variables..

Great example for anyone learning,   One companies 225 tires sidewall is not the same size as another's...  So even saying 225 tire will fit, is pretty close to meaningless....   IE:  The OEM bridgestones run alot narrower than lets say the Goodyear eagle GT, they have the same numbers(225) but they're not really physically comparible.. Youll get better rim protection from the Goodyear, it will also require more rolling On the fender to make it fit... So, even though its all you have, the numbers aren't always the best way to understand the fitment issue..

gen pu 2.5l hatch
Suspension: Bc coilovers, lower front springs (135mm 10k) non extreme drop
Height: maxed out rears near max front
Wheels: Work Meisters 2pc 17x8.5 +23
Tires: hankook rs-3 225 45 17
Camber setting: -2.7 front, -4 rear ( 180 degree turn of spc camber bolt = .4 degree negative camber)
Fender: rolled all the way, bumper tabs destroyed lol  pretty much grinded all the shizzz away.
Rub: yes only on big dips and bumps (in the front), when turning the wheel all the way to one side
 2thumbs

Rpf1 fitment: (my old set up)
Wheels:17x9 +45 ... Need at least 6mm spacer up front, none needed at rear
Camber: -1.7 front -2.6 rear
Height: about 8 threads left on rears, similar in the front.
Coilovers: bc non extreme drop (no fronts shorter springs)
Tires: 225 45 17 Goodyear rsa (I think it was rsa)
Fender: only roll, no grinding etc...
Rub: little to none, only noticeable on big dips, when turning wheel all the way to one side

For rpf1 17x9 +35 would be I think the best fitment.
