HYBRIDWORKS 1st Annual Spring Meet
«
on:
May 14, 2012, 03:45:26 PM »
Hey all, HYBRIDWORKS is having their 1st annual Spring meet on Saturday, May 26 @ 10am, in Vacaville, off of Pena Adobe rd. Here's the official flyer:
I met the shop owner, Anthony, back in September, when he let me dynotune my car for a few hours. His dyno prices are cheap compared to where I used to go, and they were located in Vallejo, so they were a convenient spot for me. We've been talking on and off ever since, dynoed again in March, and my lady's GTI is in his shop right now for some big issues. Anyways, he's a great guy to talk to, knowledgeable in all aspects of cars and tuning. So I wanted to extend the invite out to the Mazda fam and call it a meet.
I know, it's last minute, especially with all the other regular-scheduled meets happening this month. But if you're free, then come through
Word of warning: for those who know what FYHN is, please refrain from enforcing it during the meet!
I'll attempt to start a "who's going" list.
1. f-castrillo (Francis) 2011 VRM MS3
2. tokeyko (Kristine) ^^ riding with me

Serious? Damn, I was actually joking.
Well to each their own. I appreciate all cars - the Si was on my list when I went car shopping...just too slow for me.
IDK what we have going on that weekend, but it's a possibility. Not that far from here

lol it's true. It was a saying that came up as a result of the Forum Wars and the rivalry between MSF and 8thGenCivic. There are clean and well done Hondas out there, it's just that they are wayyy too far and few between, and/or their owners are are kind of a mixed bag.

I'll try to make it. I think I might know Anthony, I may have met him at some meets a few years back when I had an Integra. I'll try to bring some buddies too.

From yesterday. The silver MS3 is Quaker864, and the B16-equipped Mini Cooper is his dad's. I think that was easily one of the highlights of the meet haha!
