Trying out a new logging app. Still going to use mmr but some of the runners i know said to try cardio trainer. It gives you all the features for free, instead of having to pay for the full version of mmr. So ill test it after work, but i really like mmr so i doubt ill change.

Edit dont like it will stick with mmr.

I had forgotten about the pre-workout powder I got got a while back. Finally gave it a try before the gym yesterday and it was great! I was able to get through the workout pretty good. Gonna give it another try tonight. Gotta hit 375 this week if I can.

what pre-workout powder you talking about?

I cant remember off the top of my head, Ill check it when I get home. I got it at GNC and used it once then forgot about it.

Reporting back about the cardio trainer app. It's kind of actually cool. My music started playing automatically without me having to use android player, the tracking is good, has a goal sheet. Overall i give it a 8/10.

Today i ran 3.97 miles in 32 mins.

nice. MapMyFitness has a music player/control set but its a little clunky. Glad its working out for you.

So, I had finally put in all my food for the day and I realized that I ate more than I thought. So I decided to add to the gym. Rode the bike to the gym which was pretty killer. I havent been on the bike very much at all so 4.5 miles was tough. Still did the full hour workout. overall still came up 93 calories shy of breaking even. Oh well, I live and learn. Tomorrow will be better. Now for tons of water and a good nights sleep.

Oli, the powder is called Neurocore by muscletech. Got it at GNC.

time to join in on the fun.  I've been using Myfitnesspal.com for calorie counting and supplementing it with weekly workouts. In 6 weeks I dropped 11 lbs. Workout regimen includes light to medium running, circuit training including Insanity, and basketball. If I can do it, anyone can do it!

So I did a calorie calculation of what my basic day in eating is and it came out to around 2400 calories(clean foods, protein powders etc) not bad considering I need all I can for my workouts. Problem is I'm just got dropped any body weight so I decided to try increasing my cut and drop to 1800. I've calculated in my breakfast, lunch and snack I'll have today and I'm left with 454 calories for dinner. 1800 shouldn't be too tough and with upped cardio I should drop the lbs within a month

What is your BMR?

Right on. I just see a lot of people grab a random calorie number and just go with it without figuring in the BMR, then of course they dont have the energy to do any workouts. Not saying you were, but I get surprised at how high my BMR is and when I tell people my calorie net goal is 2370 people think I am just out of my mind.

That's how people responded when I was actively breastfeeding. I needed a lot of calories to produce and needed the calories to do so. Amazing enough the average woman can burn 500 calories just breastfeeding alone so it balances out lol.

But I still go to the gym at least. I"m still there 4 days a week for an 1-1.5 hours. Just lighten up on the weight, but intensity is at like 80%. angry9
