Yep, my wifey got it for me for my birthday, so it's been on there for only about 2 months now.  LOVE it, and yes now that I've got that first mod in I'm itching like mad to add some more!

I live in SF but work in Redwood City, so the meet is right on my way home from work.

A little about myself: my first Mazda was a 2003 Protégé5 (automatic). I upgraded to a 2004 RX-8 (my first manual) in 2005 and drove it until I bought my 2010 MS3.

I sometimes miss the 8, but couldn't handle the 14MPG on this commute. Plus I absolutely LOVE the torque and practicality in the MS3.

I'm looking to upgrade my fuel pump soon so I can support higher boost. Anyone here replaced a pump or internals?

fp internals a couple of us have em already.  jawnathin helped a couple of us with the install.  really nice guy, he might be able to help you out if he has the time for it.

I have, but I'm quote out of the way from you. There is someone who's done it before that's much closer to you though, I'm sure.

Though it's not particularly hard. Just make sure you have some bench vises to hold the pump assembly still of you go the extra mile and decide to replace the internals
