First brace is made and ready for production. It's made of 0.95 wall oval tubing and very light weight. Picture is not powdercoated. They will be powdercoated like the trunk bars I have for sale. This is a pre-production piece. Welds will be smoother but the overall brace is the same. Will fit MZ3!

Price is set at $130 plus shipping.

We made a first batch of "dogbone" style rear motormounts. They are made of steel and fully TIG welded. We used a Polyurethane bushing at 60d with a steel sleeve. The main bracket is made from one piece 3/16" plate, bent in a press. The tubing is all 0.95 wall. Everything is notched and prepped to fit tightly prior to welding.

*Pics do not show bushing and sleeve* These are pretty heavy duty mounts for sure. They will be powdercoated with the same black wrinkle coating as the trunk bars and will retail for $80 plus $5 for shipping.
As always feel free to contact me with any questions. Thanks!

The bushing size and durometer matter just as much as how well it's built.

Not offense, but building a mount for sale on this car without extensive testing is irresponsible.

there is no bushing on this piece. Replaces a piece already on the car and bolts right in using the existing bolts.

I'm talking about the other item listed joe, not the 4 point brace.

Jared had the pre-production piece in his car for a week with no issues. The bushing is a poly urethane piece identical to the one found on the TRZ dogbone mount. It will be a 60d. there is nothing more to test. this design has been proven with trz's mount. our piece is built with thicker materials and tig welded for highest strength. do you know anything about fabrication? what's your background? i'm always open to discussion. i have nothing against the trz mount but ours was designed with higher strength in mind. their welds are fine and will never break. their u bracket is made out of 1/8th steel ours is 3/16's in. plate. Anyways when we get the pieces back from powdercoating ill post pics with the bushing and sleeve in. they vcannot be powdercoated with the bushing on.. lets use common sense. no need to bash other people's hard work. we're passing on savings to fellow members and would never skip any steps in maintaining strength or reliability in a part installed on a expensive car. if anyone wants to bash a little feel free, just pm me about it.

I am using common sense.  Thats why I mentioned the size of the bushing as well as the durometer.  Because the size of the circular opening is important as is the thickness of the metal.

Last thing I want to see is a member tearing the bushing in 6 months, and that's not something that would be caught by having the mount on for a week.

I'm not here to bash.  But I've seen enough shoddily built parts for this car that I want to see that you have really done your homework.

I understand bro, I'll say it once more we will be using the identical 60d poly urethane bushing found on the trz mount. just want everyone to be clear. We spent countless hours thinking about this
mount and what we could do to make it better than it's closest counterpart. Look at cpe's mount it's a brutal bastard. Anyways I hope I've adressed your concerns. Janelle and i love our ms3 I would never make something that would be shoddily made or rushed in any way especially if I were selling it on a place where I'm trying to make a name for myself. Bottom line 85 bucks = dope ass mount that will outlast the car it's going in and will do it's job without failing. Isn't that the point?

In case anyone has noticed we could easily copied gt specs 4pt brace but we spent the extra 6 hours (for two guys mid you) to figure out how to improve on that design. We added some more bracing to prevent twisting that we feel the gt spec 4 pt may endure. Especially while cornering on uneven roads. All members can rest easy on the fact that we do put time
and effort into everything we're making. We can buy all of the braces available and simply
copied them and pushed them out the door if all we wanted to do was make money. We
both have jobs but choose to devote the time under the car to make quality stuff improving on current designs Smiley

picture my brace in place of the orange one. Same mounting points a little different design. I had to take the bar of my car so we could duplicate it. As soon as I get mine made I'll take a pic Smiley

Maiku, I will be waiting bro!

I have this piece from GTSPec and there isnt any flex from what I can feel. But different designs and competition is always nice. RIght now we have GTSpec, AutoExe, and RKM. AE is just too expensive and RKM is crap. So glad to see some more competition coming out. Gets us away from the cookie cutter car syndrome.

I have no doubt that gt spec's bar does its job. They are a reputable company and that has been their niche for a while now. We feel our design is strong and rigid. It fits nice and looks good. I'm doing all my braces in pink.. haha
