haha yea if i was to pick one id get a challenger rt cuz its value for the money. and i like the way it looks camaro looks too robotic and mustang is too muscley. challenger keepin that old skoo look.

The mustang is faster, handles better imo looks better and I think it even gets better fuel economy. That's value for money. And toped out trim, the mustang is the fastest of the 3, or did we forget about the supercharged 5.4 g500 with 540hp?

That's what made me fall in love with them. Look at my main mode of transportation NOW. My family was never about power so much as dependability. I love the sporty look of the Challenger (coupe)....and the old school look. If you compare one to the 71 Challenger, the similarities are breathtaking. Dodge really put their heart and soul into doing it correctly and making up for the failed Charger look.

My only concern is the issue with them going bankrupt, BUT Chrysler has said that they would still honor warranties - I forgot how they said they would, but I did speak with my dad about this.

I don't think this debate is worth it. I'm not an import driver. I was never raised as an import driver. You can tell me all you want about your opinion, but I honestly don't really care. I want a Challenger. The only thing that will change my mind in that is the issue with warranties, but I will do research before going there. Then again, my family hasn't ever dealt with warranties on our cars. We've never had problems that required us to use the warranty....

The love for a car goes beyond the car itself. I loved the shit out of my Focus when I had it. Sure it wasnt a powerplant, it wasnt fast or strong or very good at handling, but I loved the hell out of it. Its about the personal opinion, not the specs of the vehicle.

I would think Chrysler's warranty plan would go along the lines of in the event of bankruptcy, the warranty would be worked through "financially" through the banks or bank now in ownership of Chrysler's assets, but I don't know what's goin' on with them.

I love the look of the new Camaro too. The new Mustang... blah. Im not a big fan.

Funny though that the V6 Camaro puts about the same power as a mildly modded MS3.

the last I heard, and I read autoblog religiously, was that chrysler was going to be dropping large warranty claims all together as part of the ch 11 bankruptcy they are currently going through. They'd still honor small claims, but that would make me super nervous. Basically you need a new sensor sure, you need a new engine no.

That could have changed and I just did see it, but I doubt it.

And I know you can love a flawed car, I've loved all of mine, and some of them were pretty lame cars. It's just paying big money for a flawed car that gets me. But like I said, buy what your heart wants. I've compromised the past 3 cars, bought a mazda 3 when I wanted a mustang GT (first financed car), got rid of my evo which I loved (my mom was distraught over how much debt it was putting me in and I caved) and should have kept, and didn't get the X when I bought the ms3. So by all means take my advise with a grain of salt.

yes the company will still be there but many of their obligations will disappear, and many will be only partially satisfied. it's a very big deal, especially since many of those obligations are to their customers. I'm hoping that someone who claims to know as much as you do about as much as you do understands that.

My parents never needed to take their cars in under warranty. If we have anything that needs to be fixed, we take our cars to a trusted friend, who works on them, not the dealership. In fact, I don't think my parents EVER took their Tahoe to the dealership for repairs. I believe the car is 12 years old now, but I remember when they got it.

i was comparing the challenger r/t to the other 2 challengers the srt8 and the regular one and yea i know the challenger has the worst gas mileage compared to the camaro and mustang.
