Raced a Challenger - now I feel like a ricer

So I was having a bad day today. I went out for a drive and cruised all over Oceanside. As I was coming up on a looooooooong strip of road (cant remember the name, but I could find it again) with no inlets or turns or anything, and 3 wide lanes, I noticed a bright red Challenger behind me at the light. I really like the car (dont judge me, haters) and wanted to hear it, so I shot out as soon as the light turned green, and pulled a lane to the left so he could get along side. As I thought he might, he sped up a little bit and got along side of me. We were at about 40. He punched it - I punched it. NOT WHAT I HAD PLANNED!!! Next thing we knew, we were a mile down the road, at 100+ mph and I was almost redlined in 4th gear. But DAMN he sounded good - I would know, I stayed RIGHT on him the whole way.
The road got bumpy so we both backed off the gas so we wouldnt hit a bump and go flying. He turned, so I turned. He pulled into a 7-11 parking lot and I pulled in next to him. Got out and talked for about 10 minutes, it turns out he is in one of our sister-units, so we always work side by side in the field. Anyways, he said he had put on a Flowmaster exhaust but replaced the tips with the stock ones to not atract attention - reworked the suspension and brakes, did some other stuff I forgot, but he said he was sitting over 400 HP. I turned and looked at the MS3 behind me..... yeah, I felt like one hell of a ricer - especially when I turned the car on to leave and was reminded that my left angel eyes are out. Total rice.
End result - I stayed right with a Challenger RT up to 100MPH and didnt fall back at all, but I still feel puny when parked next to him.

Hahaha yeah, I was watching for those lights the whole time - it was a divided road, with a wall of greenery between trafic going the opposite direction, so cops couldnt see us from the other lanes, and I had already checked all the traffic at the intersection before pulling away - I ALWAYS check for cops when Im at a light. Its just a habit.

great job evan, now thanks to your slow pink ms3 every mullet wearin r tard with a challenger is going to think he can keep up with a mazdaspeed.
edit the challenger weight 1000 lbs more then the ms3, you should have destroyed him.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, it might look cool and to me that's a big might, but as far as a car goes for performance or otherwise it's a piece of shit.

Well to be honest, I was behind him the whole way (I just wanted to hear the exhaust) so I dont think I even had the pedal all the way to the floor. But it was fun and sounded nice.
Fuck your personal bias, fag.

You almost redlined in 4th? You probably lost some power after like 5800 rpm. Either way, nice little run. Good thing nothing turned out bad.

That's what made me fall in love with them. Look at my main mode of transportation NOW. My family was never about power so much as dependability. I love the sporty look of the Challenger (coupe)....and the old school look. If you compare one to the 71 Challenger, the similarities are breathtaking. Dodge really put their heart and soul into doing it correctly and making up for the failed Charger look.
